HVAC AHU
An Air Handling Unit (AHU) is a vital component of an HVAC system used to control and circulate air in buildings and cleanrooms. It draws in fresh or return air and passes it through filters to remove dust and contaminants. The air is then cooled or heated using coils to achieve the desired temperature. A blower or fan helps in distributing the conditioned air through ducts into the space. AHUs also help in maintaining proper humidity levels using humidifiers or dehumidifiers. In cleanrooms, HEPA filters are used to ensure high levels of air purity. The system also controls airflow and pressure to maintain a controlled environment. Regular maintenance of AHU is essential for efficient performance and air quality.
