Chiller Piping & Commissioning

Chiller piping and commissioning involve the installation, testing, and activation of chilled water piping systems. It ensures proper flow, pressure balance, and efficient heat transfer for optimal cooling performance. Commissioning verifies system functionality, safety, and readiness for reliable operation.

CHILLER PIPING & COMMISSIONING

Chiller piping and commissioning involve the installation and startup of chilled water systems used for cooling in HVAC applications. The piping network is installed to connect the chiller, pumps, AHUs, and cooling towers using properly sized pipes and fittings. Valves, strainers, and expansion tanks are provided to ensure smooth operation and system safety. All pipes are insulated to prevent heat gain and improve efficiency. After installation, the system is flushed and pressure tested to check for leaks and cleanliness. Water balancing is carried out to ensure proper flow across all equipment. During commissioning, the chiller is started and key parameters like temperature, pressure, and flow rate are monitored. Finally, performance testing and documentation are completed to ensure the system operates efficiently and meets design requirements.
